Is it me or do the panels look bowed up? I'd rather not feel those go down when I'm on MAX 300 Heavy doubles. But I'll never get 400 for that anyway =P

Owned!! E7.gif

I just pre-ordered a RO Afterburner about 5 minutes ago. It will probably be about a month before it arrives but I'll be sure to do a full review of it when it gets here. I'll also keep ya guys (and gals) updated on how the pad works from there on out and let ya know if I have any kind of problems with it.

Im still just a newbie and only play on Light, so theres going to be no way of knowing from my perspective how well it will hold up under the stress of playing on Heavy day in and day out. But I'm sure within a few months I'll get better and be able to find out if it can take Heavy play.

Just a note... I've never played on any other home pads before. My only experiances with DDR have been in the arcade but this seems like a really good choice for a first pad to me. So I wont be able to compare the Afterburner to any other home pads when I finally start playing on it.

But yah, just thought I'd let ya know I've secured an Afterburner E4.gif

according to the dimensions it still should be smaller than the arcade cabinet's pad frown.gif since my redoctane metal pad clone is the same width as the specs that are mentioned in the specs of the afterburner and almost the same length, however it is somewhat smaller than the arcade pad

LoL sorry, but i dont feel like changing it kuz im lazy.

Another thing, when i get mine i will do a real test. I am fat so i will put this pad through hell.

Here is my Line up for when i get the pad.
(all songs on expert)
1.Pandamonium
2.Utopia
3.Delirium
4.Hardcore of the North
5. Charlene
6.Remember December

Ah yes. i cant wait.

I had a dream last night that i got my afterburner and i was taking pictures of me and it. My favorite picture i dreamed of was me naked in bed with the after burner smoking a cigarette with just the Up arrow and the x and o buttons showing from outside the blankets... ahh yes im weird.. well since i dont smoke this will be hard but i think i can pull off the pic anyway.

*edit: i updated the first post with the pictures that were on my xanga and i quoted baka with all that info.

Hmmmmm.........
Question in my mind is what kind of sensors are on the Afterburner.
The screwing system is very different now, I wonder how it would hold up under abuse.

No, you have to buy the bundle.

If you pre-order you won't be billed the whole entity, but when it gets shipped you will.

Ok... so this pad has EVERYTHING I have been wanting in a pad... and it sonly 200$! SO much better than Cobalt... Does anyone know if there is a double pack? I want two fo these pads. It says on the side you can rpeorder and they ship may 2005-
"Availability: Pre-Order: This item will ship May 2005
You may order it now and we will ship it to you when it arrives."

See. So yes all you pre order-ers out there, you'll be receiving it in may! I can't wait to hear reviews on this... its like, making DDR/ITG history making an arcade like pad. We can only hope future pads will only be made more and more arcade exact.
