I have to agree with Lordaiken. I picked mine up at EB this last Friday. I hadn't used the Red Octane 2.0 ignition but I did have a few cheap imitation pads that I bought off of eBay. Those pads were crap and the back (down) arrow stopped responding well within minutes of playing.

I am very happy thus far with the RO Ignition v3.0. I used it for maybe 3 or 4 hours this weekend and had no trouble at all. The raised arrows and thickness of the pad is just fine. I am using this on my XBOX so I am hoping there will not be a problem with the back (down) arrow as in previous versions. To be safe I picked up the $10 1 year warranty from EB. The guy I talked to said they would exchange the pad if I had any problems. Peace of mind anyway.

Trying to play with broken cheap pads was driving me crazy. It is well worth the money to pay for a pad that works and will (hopefully) last.

My local Gamestop and EB don't have the 3.0 (in fact when I asked they looked at me sort of confused) and I'm ready to order it from online as long as someone can give me hope regarding the X-Box issue. I went through 2 of the 2.0 (luckily I got a full refund) but I did like it when it did work. Any ultramix-ers having any problems yet? My 2.0 both died within 10 hours of play.

w00t. I hope I don't have to return it, but I'll be picking that up when I pick up my RO Ignition 3.0 this weekend.

Hopefully.

I think it'd be okay, but I wouldn't.

I can't find any ROIgnition 3.0s anywhere in the City today. :[ I just settled with getting an ROIgnition 2.0 with warranty and I tried playing it. I just got everything set up right out of the box and it doesn't work. =[

Yes. It will work with the XBOX.

It will also work with your PC/stepmania.

Yes, EB still has its warranty for one year for $10.

Yet, some EB stores don't have the 3.0 yet, they only have the 2.0.

Don't double post.

I believe you can not get the one year warranty off of their site. You can get it from EBGames for $10 cheaper, or you can get it from the RO site for an additional $10 but get a free shirt if they still do that.

I was wondering what you meant, but I realized the X-Box cord pulls off to reveal where the USB cable went. Thanks.

The dance pad is perfect compared to the previous ones I've had. It does its job very well.

ok while i wait for my pad to come in the mail

i want to ask this...

since there would be form inside it so you coulldn't fold it just like flat pad.

so the question is how do you guys store your pad?

do you, after use, take form out and fold it and put it in box?

or

leave it inside and ummm hang it on the wall, under the bed or whatever?

which is the right way to store it?
