Last night I dreamt that I went to some arcade I'd never been to before. They had DDR Extreme. I played a song on it (I can't remember what it was, I think it was V or Kakumei or A or another song I whore at the arcades), and I got a B. Then I played AA (which was weird because AA's not on Extreme), and all the arrows were close together, but there were a lot of pauses. After I finished, I saw two blue-haired girls talking about me saying how cool I was playing on Heavy, and they wanted to play. After they finished, I learned that they were members of DDRFreak XD

I seem to have a horrible DDR dreaming curse. I can't recall a single time when I had a dream that I actually PLAYED DDR. Here's a few examples.


WARNING: Weird dreams follow!

1. I was at a party with, supposedly, thousands of other people. It was at least a twenty story building, with the middle hall extending to the roof. There were rooms on either side of this hall... and at the top of the hall on the right was a DDR machine. I had to go through random doors to get there, and each one was some random hotel room in which I would meet someone I know. The rooms somehow felt familiar. I finally reached the top, only to find that the machine was broken somehow. I don't know why... I just remember not being allowed to play it.

2. I was at a party in a library with some friends. O__o They had a DDR setup with metal pads. I stood in line and waited for my turn. People were cutting in front of me and stuff, but I ended up finally getting a chance. But lo and behold, when I step onto the pad, I look down at it and it's a sort of bean-bag pillow with the arrows on it. Apparently, I had to balance on the pillow while pressing the arrows. They wren't flat or anything; these arrows were curved with the ball shape. >_>

3. My most recent DDR dream. We went to an arcade at some random mall I've never seen before, and they had DDR with just the screen. No pads. I asked a worker where the DDREXTREME cabinet went (Apparently I knew there was one, I guess >__>) , and he said they got rid of it. He pointed me in the direction of a TV with ITG2 on the screen. Of course, though, I couldn't play that. It was basically two softpads covered with some thick thing... looked like office flooring to me. The arrows were broken; as in, literally not connected to it. The up arrow was where it was supposed to be, but the left arrow was where the Square button is on a normal softpad, and the right arrow was in the X area. The down arrow was nowhere to be found. I went back to my mom (I guess she was there too), and she showed me a line of 20+ mini stations with DDR pads and a screen. I went to one, and the pad disappeared and I began playing some deer shooting game.

So no DDR for me in a dream yet. ):<

This isn't really a dream, but sometimes when I close my eyes I see DDR arrows coming up...

I haven't gotten the chance to play much DDR lately because of school, so I haven't had that many dreams...

On the daydream side sometimes i day dream of playing ddr when i listen to music.
i know, pretty lame.

I keep having recurring dreams involving a god-sized arcade somewhere with two ITG2 machines.

NEWSFLASH!!! I actually got to PLAY DDR in my dream, for once! This the first time, ever. *see previous post*

I was at some strange hotel/mall place... to the right of the check-in counter (this is why I think it's a hotel) there was a cozy little cubby with arcade games. And when I say cozy and little, I mean it. There were like, six or seven games in it. Of course, though, I had no idea what any of them were except for one: a DDRextreme machine. It didn't look anything like it should look, and it only had a single metal pad, but I was happy anyway. This is where things got weird: the volume wasn't working. I turned around and called to a worker (no idea where he came from). I asked him to turn up the volume... and he said to me "We'd rather have you play on this machine." I turn around, and right behind me there is now a flatscreen TV with DDRextreme US CS (OH GAWD NO) with a pad in front of it... and it wasn't there before. There was also no bar. For some reason, this bothered me in my dream and I said "No, I'm playing on this machine." I turned around and began to play on the machine. The volume was now working for some odd reason. I did get to play, though. I chose Sakura and played through, then for reasons I cannot express I played it again. I woke up halfway through.

I had a really crazy dream the other night.

I was playing a DDR machine with every single DDR song ever and I was playing Sakura (Heavy)(I think) (the dream started about 5 seconds before the slow down) and there was a crowd of 500+ people in the arcade packed like sardines watching me. When I completed the song (I got an AA, I think), an elderly lady walked up to the machine. It was my late great-grandmother (who I cherished and stayed with until the end). I was crying buckets of tears (minus any puns here), because I haven't seen here in six months. The next thing I know, she asks me to dance with her (she never knew what DDR was and didn't even know that I ever played it). I thought I would be doing BIMP on Beg. in front of 500 people, but she picked Kiss Kiss Kiss on Heavy with 2x and STEALTH!

I didn't know if this was a prank or what, but when we got into the song, I saw her legs move much quicker than I have ever seen her (her legs weren't that well, even when I was born 20 years ago). I got 1 great with 2x while she AAA'd it on Stealth!!! I didn't get taunted, ironically.

Finally, the Extra Stage appears. It was Paranoia Hades on Challenge. My great-grandmother suddenly said called for my great-grandfather. Suddenly, my great-grandfather who died 5 years before my great-grandmother appeared. He was as mobile as ever, and I finally heard his voice clearly. He said, "Are you ready, champ?". I was trembling both physically and mentally. Then he said "Yo, champ". Then I snapped out of it and we started Hades. We were both neck and neck until the final 15 seconds when I bailed out from intense pain in my legs. He FC'd PHO with 3 greats. Then I woke up.

I had a dream that I was pawning the DDR Extreme arcade. The song happened to be a known song in some PrOn movies.

I woke up from the dream and an actual PrOn was playing. I found the song more interesting than the people and was thinking of steps to go with the tune.

I once dreamed of finding a DDR Extreme cabinet at a mall. However, the pad was like a beanbag; I had trouble keeping my balance on it since the arrows were right at the very edges of the beanbag. I ended up just kneeling and slapping the arrows with my hands - nonetheless, I failed stuff I could AA in real life. Also for some weird reason the background responded to how well I was doing, showing flying over water, starting to lose control as I missed arrows, and falling in when I failed.
