I hate when people think DDR is some gay video game, no ur all wrong, it's a lifestyle. I also hate when people say that DDR is gay when they have never played. It is only fun when u can do Standard and Heavy songs.... everything else sucks

Hmmm I don't like it when people think that ALL overwieght people can't play DDR, Hell Im over wieght and Im suprisinly really good at it, I wiegh 235 and I can do some Heavies and I can Pass MAX Unlimited with a B, and do other levels that In shape people can't do, then again I do play like 24/7

Not like any music besides japanese techno
Very Femanine (OMG THAT &^% ME OFF)
Queer/Gay ect..
Good at stomping on arrows

(it was the wost idea to tell my "FRIENDS" that i play ddr because they continually rag on me about being femanine and queer. And when i told em that tons of other guys play they said ALL GUYS WHO PLAY DDR ARE GAY.)

Most of the spectators, or people who know little about ddr assume that asians are the best at the game, and white people suck at it. When in actuallity, there are only a few asians better then me here.

Black players only play Stomp To My Beat and freestyle. Some random azz kid one day asked me while playing on an Extreme machine "is STMB on here?" I said no. He said then why are you playing? Only black people play that song and all they do is freestyle. I laughed, then AAA a song on heavy in his face.

I hate players that think they look cool when they play. You don't look cool. It's impressive to some people that you can move your feet that quicly and read the arrows, but trust me on this. We all look pretty far from cool.

The "girls suck at DDR" thing pisses me off, too. Just because I'm still on Standard doesn't mean I suck because I'm female. It just means other people have a head start on me.

I also hate the assumption that I've been playing a long time. For some reason, that just bothers me. No, I've been playing like...a month and a half. That's not a long time, folks.

Also, just because I have periwinkle hair and play "Dynamite Rave" frequently does NOT make me a raver kthx.

Lastly, I also don't like the assumption that just because I honestly *like* playing Afronova, that I kill it and/or am a n00b.

Hm? Seems like the area around here isn't as bad with sterotypes.

For one thing, DDR does attract a lot of the lame people who have no life and are fanboys of (insert anime here). But me being a girl, I'm not normally assumed as such. So I guess I wouldn't know what it's like.

On that note, I've never heard problems with girls playing DDR around here. Just that you get weird stares and then get jaws dropping when you do well on a heavy song. Which is fine with me, gets me a little attention.

As with kids, I've nearly hit a couple in the face from getting too close to me playing on the machine but other than that...............
