Don't anyone consider it sad that you would want to play DDR when you're on a cruise?

I think it depends on if you play in the arcades often or not. If someone plays DDR multiple times a week in the arcade then playing it on a cruise is just another place to play DDR. But for somone that doesn't get a chance to play on a DDR machine often, it could be seen as a big deal to have access to a machine for a few days.

yeah I've been on the Ecstsy...

I thought it was ok, the pizza & ice cream 24/7 was cool but the arcade was teh suck. Most of the machines were broken and yes there is not a whole lot to do if you're under 18. There's a "dance" for the youngins but it was lame, but at least I got to sing Long Train Runnin' E1.gif.

Good luck on finding DDR on a cruise!

Do cruise ships really rock back and forth that much? I mean, arn't they kinda designed massive and all so that they don't move back and forth that much? I mean people sit in bars on them, people swim in swimming pools on them ect, if they rocked back and forth enough where it would alter how you play DDR, IE falling off the pad because of it, I wouldn't think you could do much else on the freaking ship other than sit in your cabin and be ship. goog.gif

It all depends on what Kind of cruise you go on. I have been on two, they were CARNIVAL ELATION and CARNIVAL ECSTACY. Neither of them had DDR, but they had a skate boarding and skiing game. I played them, and I didnt really get thrown off or felt any movement. The ships have giant stableizers on the bottom, and I am usually likely to get Motion Sickness (like on rollercoasters) but I did not get sick once. You get used to it rather quickly. Hope the cruise does have DDR, because if you are a youth (age 14-17) There isnt really much to do during the day except pig out. HAVE FUN!! thumb.gif

I went on the elation. Last May i think. It blew hard! They had like 9 or 10 arcades machines. House of the Dead 3
Tekken 2 or 3
Police Acadamy
Crazy Taxi
A Snowboard game that was broken half the time!
A surf game
A skateboard game
4 of the same racing game
and a motorcross sort of game

I was really board on the ship. I saw the same movie like 3 times in a row (Digimon). The arcade was a disgrace! frown.gif
