Ive never noticed it, i tried to pay attention to it but it kinda messes me up so i'll just go back to the way i played before

It kind of does when you read visually, but not by much.

If the song's onsync it doesn't matter as much.

I've noticed people mentioning Extreme AC more than once.

Just to clarify, I noticed this on a SuperNOVA arcade machine. Did it exist even on Max 2 arcade machines?

Well, I don't think the marvellous flash was in play (since marvellous hadn't been in MAX2, right?), but I'm pretty sure it still featured yellow flash for perfect/green flash for great.
