I don't think anyone here is saying that being in a minor key automatically makes a song sad. It's just that if you're trying to figure out whether a song sounds sad or not, knowing whether it's minor or major is often a good place to start.

Eh...maybe. If you're talking about the Lassan, then I mostly disagree - it sounds pretty somber to me. In the Friska, I guess you could say that some of the minor sections are a little happy-sounding, but they're nowhere near as happy-sounding as the major sections (at least to me).
I still stand by my answer from a few days ago: Don't Promise Me sounds pretty sad to me. _________________
