We should have done more limited mod powers. At the beginning of the day I saw some pretty funny threads but at the end of the day it was just people deleting every thread that appeared. Quickly lost the fun factor.

Yeah, despite the fact that a lot of people thought it was dumb, I thought it was pretty clever. I just wish I'd been around on the 1st - I only had time to check the forums briefly in the morning.
I think it was good because a lot of people fell for it. It's funny to read all the "OMGWTF??" threads now.

That was Bemanistyle's joke, not ours. We ended up tying it into the joke here because it ended up sort of making sense, but it was all them.

I completely missed last years and this years was so 'in your face obvious'. 2004's was pretty good and caused some HUGE arguments amongst some members. The DJ 8-Ball is dead is a good one too, though unfortunately I missed it =/
Here's to hoping that next year some real creativity comes out. |
