i cant beleive on one has mentioned Destiny on hard... Those steps are very creative with the placement of the mines and the arrows making it a challenge to not hit the mines because they kind of alternate... but i love that chart and I love Habanera 1 doubles expert... once you get the tricks of it... that is a very creative stepchart because its also only a half double but its very twisy and the hand at te slowdown are fun

Funny that you don't mention The Beginning, then.

Anyone who said Utopia is retarded. It's perfectly on-sync, but that doesn't mean the idea of the contant rights was a good one.

I'd have to go with Dawn (E) or Bend Your Mind (E).

At least we know what the word "creative" means.

It even says in the original post that the steps don't have to be good or fun, just innovative.

If I use my buttocks-cheeks to make a simfile does that make it innovative?

Creative? Right.

Utopia is creative and varied.
Bend Your Mind is creative if not slightly repetitive. Bend Your Mind Doubles is where it's at.
Tell is creative.
Lemmings on the Run is creative.
Oasis is creative only in the sense that it uses an idea that was never utilized before in a dancing game. It doesn't really use an ingenious concept.

No, because an innovation has to make sense in some way. Every example I listed has a fairly obvious theme (though several are repeated within the list).

Fine then, putting arrows into a simfile by fist-smashing the keyboard a bunch of times isn't innovative anyway, because DDR's already done it (Daikenkai).

I don't think he fails at "engrish"

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engrish

Additionally,

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Innovative

And before you argue that dictionary.com is more credible a source than wiki, do your research.

I do not beleive that using your "buttocks-cheeks" would be an improved method (well, I guess it depends on who you are making charts against...), and I'm definately sure that this is not useful, just disgusting.

I said Utopia, and I will happily argue the creativeness of the chart in spite of my obvious retardation. Keep in mind that the sync of the song and whether or not you like the section with the rights has nothing at all to do with the topic at hand.

Heh... I'm just going to stick with singles charts because with doubles, there are a whole ton worth talking about (IMO).

Funny, that Reactor edit looks a lot like my Necropolis Expert stepchart. I would have ranked that highly, if edits counted. (StepMania is going to post my Necropolis stepchart, for anyone who wants to dis my skills as a stepchart artist with sufficient justification and evidence.)

Also, about Utopia: it really is creative in a literal and technical sense, since repetitive hitting of simply the right and left arrows has not been done before.
It is fine by me if you think it is creative, but I think it is taboo for a good reason. There is a difference between good creativity and bad creativity. Good creativity is better. I'd like to hear some arguments against my views personally, but not in this forum.

In my opinion, that isn't creative. That's insane. I'd like to see someone pass that on foot and say how creative it is from a firsthand perspective.

Glancing at it, though, I really think it isn't creative, it just looks fast. Ungodly fast.

Oasis, soapy bubble, and vertex

I don't care if it's synced, Utopia is a horrible chart imo.
