What do you think is the most creative stepchart in ITG. This is not necessarily the best or most fun and certainly doesn't have to be your favorite song. What steps just scream creativity?

Bend Your Mind

It's a unique mixture of forced crosover holds, hands, streams, crazy fast spurts, and to top it all off it goes with the music, even if it's pretty chaotic at times.

Disconnected

200 BPM, some strange steps to go with the dial tones, and a sudden stop. Very creative IMO.

Delirium

Quite a degree of intensity to go with steps that are very much like the music, 3 quick stops, and a 116 BPM speed up (going to 279).

Argh, Boochypa, you have wasted my extremely precious time with your mindless drivel. My time is more valuable than duterium, ya know laugh.gif Anyway I agree with Funk Factory. At first I saw the 350 step count and though it was low hanging fruit. I tries it out and fail, badly. Eventually I can pass it, but I like the way the freezes force alternating steps, including some spins. I also love the 'minefield' in Romeo & Juli8 - usually I just stand in the center and stare around nervously, tapping each arrow in a timid fashion - it gets great reaction from spectators.

I'd have to say One False Move. It's more unique than the others because it's more like trying to beat a level in the game rather than just passing a song.

I really thing that Oasis and Sweet World are some pretty innovative/awesome stepcharts.

definitely Kagami. It has gallops, step jump combinations, short burst streams, a semi long stream at the end, freeze step combimations, a slowdown, hands and sub beat steps. (slowdown- instrument in the backround)

Utopia, hands down. Though Sweet World would be a close second.

Definately a doubles chart, I think I'd have to go with Disconnected Disco Double Expert, partially cause it's just that badass

Now, this is just my opinion, but Utopia sucks. Creative, yes, but merely because it takes repetitive steps and adds rather nonsensical (or at least peculiar) rhythms to create a stepchart that was previously avoided because of blandness and unfathomable timing, which is almost a lack of creativity. I expect someone will argue against me on those n00bish claims (or whatever you want to call them), but hey, I think that there are better creative stepcharts.

Off the top of my head, I would say that Queen of Light is most involving with handplants and quads, whereas Bend Your Mind is creative in its entirety. However, Dawn also ranks highly in creativity with the entire package, to a lesser degree than Bend Your Mind. I also feel that Anubis, Lemmings on the Run, and Zodiac deserve credit for their mines. Delirium and VerTex use tempo changes creatively.
I suppose I would rank them:
Bend Your Mind
Dawn
Anubis
Delirium
Queen of Light
Lemmings on the Run
VerTex
Zodiac
Utopia (whatever, I don't know, use the argument for Walking on Fire)
Driving Force Classical (nice long stream with turns and jumps and all sorts of stuff, I don't know if it is creative, but I feel like adding it to my list)
Disconnected Hyper (I say this song has two distinct difficulty levels: easy and fatal)
Walking on Fire (Repetitive in a way that is original, and thus creative)
