I've always assumed "no", but now I'm not so sure. And if they do, would they normally have the courtesy to notify and/or offer an explanation?

All they ever seem to do is edit posts to remove whatever they'd delete it for, often to leave a note behind to the effects of "Don't do that again, mmmkay?"

You have asked for infinity and you don't deserve it.

Sometimes when I see double posts, I'll delete one. If there's an outright spam there that gets moved to a Recycle Bin forum (which in a way is a delete in your purpose).

Not that I'm posting spam, but if that is where deleted posts go, I'd be curious to know if you see a post of mine in there...

I sometimes delete double posts, if I am in the mood.

Also sometimes, I will move a post to the Recycle Bin - which is technically not a deletion, but it will seem that way to the community since only Moderators can access the Recycle Bin.

I don't like to move posts to the Recycle Bin unless they are total spam, contain sensative information like somebody's phone number or address who doesn't want it known, or are totally over the top offensive.

If I am going to delete or move to the Recycle Bin - I do it right away. I will never delete a post if its been around awhile.

I want to read the recycle bin. I'll bet that's where all the good posts are.

Since we're talking deleted stuff, what about threads? More or less?

So basically, all the deleted stuff goes in the "graveyard" (like how BemaniStyle has a Graveyard where you can read all the locked & deleted stuff).
