It's not a huge problem or anything, but is there a reason why if I put a quote in my sig, if I re-enter my profile, there will be a (random looking) string of characters in the quote tags that I have to remove each time I go to my profile? I'm just curious and it's not a big issue; I don't usually put quotes in my sig anyway.

I'm not sure why that happens, but I do know what you're talking about. Usually, just deleting them and resubmitting the signature should fix it.

This started happening after one of the modifications to the site was implemented I believe. I'm not sure which one. I think someone with more experience in our code is going to have to answer that for you.

That's happened to me before as well. I believe some people just take out the BBCode and just bold the names of whoever it is your quoting and then display whatever you wanted quoted as regular text.

I do that, but it's mainly so all three quotes fit when viewed normally.

That's a bbcode gid unique to your user.
Why it shows up when you edit, I don't know. I'll take a gander into it and see what I can figure out.
