| I started playing about 11 months ago, i'm now at the 8-9 foot level. I've lost 15 pounds probably.. while growing 2 inches so probably in reality 30 lb loss. |

The thread's point was to ask who plans on losing weight by playing DDR - not post your weight loss accomplishments here so yeah. Especially posting twice in a row to post basically the same thing, but whatever I'm done here. |

hmm, yeah, but also consider the fact that i said exclusively, which COULD be taken to excluding everything else in life, including food and other necessities...or not, I dunno. But even then, odds are that the conversion between fat and muscle isn't enough to make THAT big a difference

During My summer of 2003, the summer right before i went into highschool, thanks to DDR (...and marching band...and Phys. Ed. over the summer...heh) I lost about 35 lbs.
I don't play frequently like i used to, it's more of a seasonal thing for my friends and i...where we forget about it, and then start playing so we can warm up for some tournament we do in Tampa, FL every summer.
If i keep going at this rate...i'd like to lose 10 lbs by the time summer comes around....it'd be nice. |
