hey I found this pad at my local bestbuy and I don't know if it is one of the better foam pads to get.

No the Ignition 3.0 isn't that good in quality. I've heard stories about the raised arrow parts shifting around. Since it has no zipper to open it up like alot of other foam pads you can't really fix it without destroying your pad. If you want a good foam pad go for the Buy N Shop Fusion/Sparkle or an Ignition 2.0. The 2.0 is much better than the 3.0.

QFT. Probably one of, if not the best foam pad you can buy. I absolutely love mine even though I'm getting a cobalt flux :]

No it isn't. Thats why I got a 3.0, because my raised arrow slid over. I wouldn't get an ignition period. Get a fusion.

The raised parts on 3.0's are more likely to shift quicker than the 2.0's. Davidyko apparently had two Ignition 2.0's for three and a half years and they've been working fine.

I ripped mine apart about a month and a half ago. And I built This Awesome Pad for only around $155. So far, it's working great. Thanks Stoli! You've changed my life! E4.gif

Hey, hey, what's with all this hate for the Ignition 3.0? I got mine on the first of August, playing 1-12's and only last week did the top panel develop a little horizontal tear. Even still, it works fine, pad errors occur maybe once every ten songs. I haven't tried the Sparkle yet, but I'd definitely recommend the Ignition 3.0 as a good foam pad.

You guys are playing in socks, right? You can play with shoes on the Ignition, but I wouldn't recommend it erm.gif

I've had mine for 10 months, and it didn't start having issues until the beginning of this month (pad misses on my top arrow).

Apparently it is hit/miss, you'll end up with something wonderful or worthless.
