Can't Stop Fallin In Love Speedy Mix
Dive
Ghosts
End of the Century
Jam & Marmalade
So Deep
Tsugaru
Tsugaru Apple Mix

Healing Vision
Healing Vision (Angelic Mix)

Max 300
Legend Of Max
Maxx Unlimited
DXY!
Drop Out
Rhythm & Police
Sandstorm
A
A Stupid Barber (just cuz its an awesome song)
The Legend of Max
Cartoon Heroes
Deikenkai
Speed Over Beethoven
Holic

I think everyone's dream mix is different, hence the law of averages and mere statistics are used by Konami to try to cook up mixes that will satisfy the largest percentages of people.

For example, the top six favourite songs in Ex2 at my house are (only the first and last are definitely in their right spots):

Speed Over Beethoven
Cartoon Heroes
Boom Boom Dollar KOG
Captain Jack
Butterfly Upswing
Daikenkai

I just hope that the PS2 online mode doesn't grab everyone's favourites because really, how many people never play online (like me!) In fact at home the internet connection (although broadband) only directly connects to one computer and my home one is not that computer.

I just don't want to see a mix full of maxes and paranoias. Sure they're all okay, and I really like Paranoia Evolution over all the Paranoias I've ever listened to, but that's simply not my favourite type of music. The pop, the j-pop, the fast but truly danceable stuff, the classical music; these are the songs that I most like.

My dream mix would include the songs above (the top 6), include another 20-30 songs from Ex2, include 5-10 songs from Ex1, 10 from Max2, 10-15 from Max1, and even a few from Disney Mix and a couple more from Konamix and of course any new cool songs that come out. To me it'd be a Wermo's Best Collection.

But would that EVER happen? No. The only way Konami would create such a mix for the NA Market would be to make another Party Collection by grabbing statistics on what songs are played the most either at home or at arcades and include the top 40 songs and put them all in one mix.

Imagine on Supernova having a little prompt saying "We want your home mix saves to determine the kinds of songs our players like the most. Please insert PS2 memory card."

Voila! Problem is how would they be able to differentiate between a hard core 10+ footer freak who after playing 1 set at home, goes back to upload the new save and doing so ad infinitum and then we'd get a mix where the lowest footer song on Standard (no Beginner and Light because that person never plays those difficulties) would be 7's and all Heavies and Onis would be 9's, 10's, and flashers.

It could use just a variation of ITG's stats.xml file. Let's say I actually played on a home version, so playing all 10s sounds pretty likely. The stats file would just tally up how many times total I play each song, forever. So, it wouldn't matter if I ran to the arcade with each update or not, my stats.xml would be used to update the machine's stats.xml. I'm pretty sure that's how Roxor is going to look at which songs to trim off the songlists in future versions: just look at which ones no one plays and give them the axe. That's how I think Konami should do it too, because then if everyone decides Gamelan de Couple is useless, it wouldn't take up space on the list anymore.

Umm... wouldn't a DDRMAX3 be hard to make since Konami stopped making it? Oh, and I fixed your SOS request E13.gif lol

Alright then...

-A Series of discs: 1st-5th mix, then 6th-8th, then non-arcade exclusives. Every song ever made on a DDR game, basically.
-Arcade timing windows + marvellous timing optional.
-All mods/new mods enabled
-New/updated videos.

That's basically it.

You wrote Legend of Max twice in that list. And where's FaXX? and the rest of the 10-footers?

Because you know, with someone a list as random as that, would REALLY care for all the 10s.

Good list, but lacks variety. Why do you have so many songs from Max/Max2/Extreme?

BTW, it's spelled Daikenkai.
