IIDX 13th AC "~DistorteD~" CONFIRMED

Apparently there's rumors of another style flying around under the moniker "beatmaniaIIDX ~DistorteD~". It drops the "13th" portion as well (or is it a bit ironic?). ~DistorteD~ is supposed to have a dark, black theme.

The game is supposedly slated for March 2006.

Strange... It looks more like a grey than a black. And how come Konami decides to use the soundproof panels NOW? Just imagine the people that had to put up with the DDR music interferring with their IIDX.
