The pad (in its current state) relies on two variables to determine if it will be worth it.
1) Do the sensors last
2) What are the arrows made out of
The arrows will be 1CM thick, but if theyre acrylic, they'll crack. The sensors are the same size as arcade sensors, but if theyre cheaply mde, again they'll suck. The fact that there's wood under the arrow makes me think this might just be a TX pad rebuilt with thicker arrows and better sensors. Thats good, however it will still have that hollow feel to it if that's the case. The bar still seems too small and probably nothing better than a 2000's bar |

oh i do want to test this thing to see if it's worth it, judging by the description, it sounds good, but at the same time, a description can make a McDonald's burger sound good _________________

checked out the price. Only 300 american dollars. now the flux has some competition. But i still wonder about wiring quality and construction. Still with those kind of arcade sensors still it seems like a good value if it is well made.
However the third and 4th shipment will cost 349 dollars. So if u take a risk by ordering it now u can pay 50 dollars less than later when most of the reviews will probably come out. |

mymybox = poopy, look at their product history, they sell rebranded tx-1000s
mmb will never compare to a cobalt in terms of construction, quality, sensitivity, durability, or performance |

still arcade style design in terms of sensors or maybe they are arcade sensors. Plus a 6 month warranty. It may be a bad pad but that will only be known for sure once feedback starts coming in. at least it probably won't fall apart though weighing 85 pounds and all. |

ohhhhhh it is only $300 ! Other sellers are selling sensor for $30~$35 /each . If it is really $300 then mymybox is not using the real arcade sensors. if they are using really arcade sensor on thier blueshark metal pad, it should be around $500~$600.
$300 ??? as V4 said, It might be a cheap and bad pad. if it is a good pad with the price of $300, then it should be awesome deal!
we never know unless someone leave the feedback on this blueshark metal pad. I can not wait to see other people's feedback on this pad.

The sensors are designed as the arcade is. They're not "arcade sensors", just the same size and function. As for the price, replacement parts WILL always be more expensive. (for example, if you add up all the seperate parts to build the pad, it will be more than the pad cost) |

the thing that intrigues me the most is how the sensors on the BlueShark will work on an Arcade pad _________________

I figure that the sensors are about the same size, have contact points very similar to the arcade and the connectors are a simply signal/ground. They should work, though Im not sure how well. |

Does anyone know how to make metal pad with Arcade Sensor?
The BlueShark Arcade Sensor is on sale and I want to buy those sensors to build my own metal pad. It is only $49.99 for 8 sensors.

kyj197, i suggest you make a new thread for that
those two pics are indeed blueshark pads, but the first one (the one that is all blue) was the concept version, it's what it originally looked like while they were testing it. the latter is the actual thing _________________

get a pile of 2x4's, a toolbox full of stuff, 1/2" plywood, lots of 26 gauge sheet metal, 1" screws and I'll show you how to make a DDR frame that will compliment those sensors IM me on AIM if you need to do this...Keep in mind youll need 16 sensors to do it this way (I would use 4 per arrow) |

I only bought 8 sensors, do I need to buy additional 8 sensors to make arcade styel metal pad?
I got many 1" screws, a 1/2" plywood. I ordered 4 panels.
It already cost me more than $80. |
