As you all know, Konamihwi.com is no more and have moved to www.konami-usa.com/production. After a bit of "hacking", if you can even call it that (More or less by downloading an existing pack, finding the general path, and dealing with trial and error regarding filenames), I was able to find the new link to the 13th character pack, and this should probably be reflected in the initial post. Here ya go:

Actually, both links redirect properly now. I just downloaded the character pack successfully from the old link. Anyway, nobody knows how long it will continue to work, so I'm gonna go ahead and change it up now.

I know this is a really old thread, but I have something important to add:

Recently I tried installing DDRPC on my Windows XP x64 PC, and I got an error, so I modified the installer file so it will install on any system.

If you are getting "your operating system is not adequate" errors, download this file to install
http://home.comcast.net/~ddrjeffp/ddrinstall.msi

Instructions:
1. Save the file somewhere on your hard drive
2. Copy the data.cab file from your DDRPC CD to the same directory as ddrinstall.msi
3. Run ddrinstall.msi

NOTE: You won't be able to install DirectX 8.1 through this installer but you should be using DX9 anyways.

EDIT: No guarantee the actual game will work, though. I couldn't get it to work on this PC.

Well it's 2007, and all links referenced in this thread are now dead. Is there anywhere to get this game now days, and will it run on WinXP SP2 and work with a BNS Extreme (assuming an adapter is used)?

I doubt anybody still uses it.

Because it's old, doesn't work, is no good, or all of the above? AFAIK, this is the only commercially available DDR-type game for the PC, yes? There's always the simulators, but is there a way to set one up legally with some decent tunes without having to jump through many hoops? I don't currently have any consoles, but I do have a pad and want to play.
