Konami Arcade-Style Controller: Product Link N/A

MSRP: N/A

Product Description:

None Available - This item was available exclusively through Konami for a very short amount of time and in very limited quantities. From most people's speculation, it's based off a Solo pad and is very, very durable, and is definitely the most arcade-like experience you can have without having an arcade machine.

You are more likely to win the lotto than to get one of these pads. Don't even bother asking where you can get one.

two people to move it? i can barely move my cobalflux. i guess that pad is good for people with a nice garage or arcade room, but for Joe Schmoe, it's not very practical...

They are not quite the same. This pad was obviously made for a PS2 by Konami, which is extremely rare (as it says). However, the solo pads they sell at channelbeat are just pads taken from an arcade solo machine, which are still hard to obtain, but nothing compared to these pads. I am sure if you EVER find one for sale anywhere be prepared to spend grands. Probably in between 2 and 5 thousand, probably more. In conclusion, don't count on getting this pad ever and if you do consider it a message from god.

Like everything at Konami that is arcade-style or even AC machine, they only took preorders, and would only sell them if they had preorders. IIRC, they where sold right around the time fifth mix came out.

What is "IIRC", again I still understand why wouldn't they do it. I'm pretty sure they would make mu-lah.

IIRC - If I recall correctly

I just think that they weren't willing to have left over inventory that couldn't be sold. Why take the risk when these products are high value?

Uh, no. You don't get the point. AC machines and ASCs cost a lot of money. Therefore, they don't want to be stuck with a lot of inventory left over if they can't sell them. This is why Konami will only sell as much as there are preorders, as they know at least they'll sell that much.

Short and simple answer, you can't.
