My favorites are definetly: Those arrows in Afronova that go left.gif up.gif right.gif left.gif down.gif right.gif Those are so fun. I used to never understand that you could alternate feet by turning sideways. Trying to double step that part is just mean. And of course, you have to start the crossover before it correctly too. I love those steps, just turning sideways and going back and forth is always so fun.

Least favorite steps: Definetly those steps in the second half of So Deep, where the rhythms start ending with two groups of 3 1\16th notes, and the gallops have a little more time in between them than the others. I also can't do crossovers on the top arrow. down fine. Up bad. And then there's the OMFG JUMP TRIPLE 1\16 JUMP THEN CROSSOVER LIEK OMFG steps in Tsugaru. Those things ALWAYS fail me, because the jumps end up getting me not ready to step on the crossover.

I like the patterns that go back and forth between two arrows (such as in 321 Stars). I also like anything with 6 or more jumps in a row (Love Love Shine, Afronova, Drop Out, etc.)

Favorites:
Streams with occasional instances of 1/16th triplets, like the end of Highs Off U.
Constant stream at low-mid BPM, like JaneJana and In The Heat Of The Night.

Least Favorite:
A 1/4th step, followed by a single gallop, like in Heaven is a '57 metallic grey.

Favorite: Long 8th note streams with no turns/double steps
Runner up: Gallops of any kind (So Deep is a great song riiight.gif )

Least Favorite: Long 8th note streams full of double steps (a la HVAM)
Runner up: Jump-step 8th note patterns (DXY, Stoic, etc)

Absolutely despise:
1) 8th note runs that force you to double-step
2) half a dozen or more consecutive 8th notes on the same arrow
3) Streams where you were supposed to cross over on the FIRST step, not the THIRD step
4) Fast jump streams (eg "Drop Out", "Maxx Unlimited")

Mildly annoyed by:
1) 8th note runs consisting of consecutive double-taps (eg "R3")
2) 8th notes before or after jumps
3) Reverse crossovers
4) Overuse of freezes to the point where you feel like you're one-footing the whole song

Makes me happy:
1) Gallops and skips
2) Long streams that don't tangle my feet up
3) Irregular rhythms that match the melody of the song (eg "Absolute")
4) Streams of jump-step-jump-step-jump-step, etc.
