First off, there is no English in your post.

Second, if you are looking to make things harder. Modify the songs you play, such as doing S4R (Sudden Shuffle SSR [Heavy], Flat). Or use 3x shuffle for songs over 130bpm.

Well, if you're finding MaxX a little too easy, then I'm just gonna tell you that you need to go to the arcade and either 1) try PSMO or 2) start PAing other people.

Oni courses are somewhat easy, but you can always play on an Extreme and do Legend Road if MaxX is easy. If you find that easy, you're on your own. I'm just gonna say go play some Mario or something.

I wish there were more 10-footers, but since we can't have such a wish granted we turn some of those catas into 10-tooter really easy. Modding is the way to go.

And I gaurantee you'll find the challenge you seek.

In my opinion, 10-footers are useless. Now before some kid goes "OMFG u sey that cuz u kent do tem u leym omfg!!!111oneoneone", I must say that, yes, it's true, I am not at that level yet. However, looking at people do those helped me to have a rock-solid opinion on the matter...

Most of the time, when I see people do 10-footers, I see them holding onto the bar like there's no tomorrow. I must concur that yes, it is understandable, given the foot level of the song. But personally, I find more appealing to witness someone having an epileptic seizure rather than to look at someone doing PSMO while bar hugging (but that's just me)...

Whenever I'll be at a 10-footer level, I may try to pass them once or twice, and once that's done, I won't touch em ever again.

I may sound alittle crazy, but I would actually like to see more 10 footers, maybe half as many 10 footers as there are 9 footers? I just want a better selection.

I most defenitely concur with your statement. I dont like that the ten footers are just insert your MAX song here. But I guess that's why bag and Sakura was added. It's just not enough!!! frown.gif

Well at least if you ever see me play then tens you'll never see me bar-rape either. I find it totally revolting that people can't rely on their own strength to pass songs, but sink down to the level of handicapping themselves with that bar. That's just shows who's really in shape and who is not.

PS. I'd rather see someone fail the song and not use the bar than to use the bar and pass. It just shows how weak alot of people are.

I say if youre going for PA, using the bar is ok. But, if you cant even pass the song without the bar your really cheating. Everyone around here that can pass 10 footers, can pass them without the bar so thats never been a problem around here.

As for my opinion on 10 footers, I find them fun to do once in a while and to keep my stamina up, but I usually hang around the 8-9 footers for real fun and ocassionally go down to 7.

Some 10's I like more than others. I think the market for people that like playing a lot of 10's is pretty small, so that's why there aren't so many. I think more easier 10's would be cool (on the level of Max300, Outer Limits, Sakura, etc...).

Most 10's though... Konami just doesn't gain anything by loading up mixes with them. I'd wager that most people will never pass even Max300, let alone stuff like PSMO. 10's are great when they're there for a reason. I really like PS, PR, Max300, MaxX U, Sakura, and Outer Limits. But PSM/O, LoM, and Max.(period) just feel gimmicky to me (LoM to a lesser extent... but I just don't feel the music on that one). I'm not even going to talk about bag. Overall though, I think Konami has done a good job with 10-footer balance. I can understand the place in a mix for even the 10's that I don't like much. But the cool thing about the 10's is that they all have a very distinct personality to them. Even PS vs PSM is a totally different ballgame (despite most of the steps being the same, just on mirror and faster) due to the added steps at the end and the noticeable speed increase.
I think in the 9's, there are more tracks that are more of the same compared to other 9's. But less so than you get in the 8's... and so on down the line until you get to the 3 or less foot songs that might as well all be the same thing at different tempos. Restricting the number of songs as the difficulties go up adds to the uniqueness of the songs at a particular level and, I believe, really adds to the sense of accomplishment when you beat one.

Long story short, I don't think beating a 10 would feel nearly as good if there were three dozen of them. But when there's only a handful, it feels really freaking good.

Absolutely. I would say that MaXx in heavy is the hardest song out there, but ive never been to an arcade and tried any others. plus im only in standard with the ability to do hvy songs. are all songs like MaXx, with 300+ BPM and lots of trick steps and jumps?

The best thing to do in this case is DEFINITELY to make another pointless post that will keep the thread bumped instead of letting it die.

Did you notice the sarcasm?
