ok well anyways i bought a psx to usb adaptor and installed everything but the pad i have doesnt work at all, do i need to do something special so it will work. pls help me as i only have an hour to get some play time in :'(

ok well anyways the brand of psx-usb is wasaki and i got it from radioshack, i read the readme and tried all the stuff on there but had no luck atall(chances are i did it wrong because im stupid as hell with comps)
anyways if some1 could please help me get this to work it would be really nice, i tried for 3 hours today with no luck and just gave up lol. so yea plssss help lol.

in one of the threads i was reading it said that they did workbyt that you needed joytokey, so i got that and tried doing everything with no luck. anyways if your sure it wont work could you recomend something that would. preferably in canada at a place like future shop or something like that

yes, i did read it before but i just read it all again to make sure i didnt miss anything. anyways, if i get the PS Joy Converter it will work aslong as i download and install the driver for it. is that correct, will i have to fool around with any settings or is it just plug and play

I can't help you. All the people I know bought pads that included a PS and PC adapters.

3mpy - Radio Shacks and other ones you can't get. You have to order it online from the States or Hong Kong.

ok i need abit more help but i think ive almost got it. i did make some progress tho E1.gif. today i tried tesing the controller(just a ps2 controller, dont have a ddr pad yet) in control panel and everything worked. i mapped the some of the keys to sm and tried afew songs. I think my adaptor will most likely work with up/down, left/right because it works with like x/square, ext(ill have a ddr pad to try it out on later) but now my problem is that sm wont let me map the dpad buttons onto it. it says they work fine on control panel but once i try to input them into sm i get nothing. I might be doing something wrong but im not sure, any help would be appreciated.

turns out the adaptor i have works awesome, i reinstalled the drivers and mapped everything and it works great on the new pad we tsted it with. the pad was new so at first it really sucked but once we played afew 9's on it it started to work great biggrin.gif
