running is really the ONLY exercise necessary, it worked extremely well for me, jus run, eat a chicken baguette or salad in BK, and ur set, no water really needed, sprite works well, u need some amount of carbs.

DDR jus gives you more stamina and stubby legs. disgust.gif its happened to me disgust.gif

Well, studies have shown that if you drink some much soft-drinks for about 6 months, and switch over to diet-soda, you lose a lot of weight.It worked on me for about a couple of days before I switched back to regular soft drinks. I lost about 6 pounds in two days doing that.

I used to DDR like crazy, but with this job i have, i live at my work. 1 day off= not enough DDR liek before! frust.gif stupid 99c store people...

well honest to say im interested in this topic. i wish to loose weight and i love playing ddr. so could someone that knows what there talking about or just thinks they can help me sum up what people have replyed with and put it in one post so that me and other members can see what is good or not. i would but i dont know anything about calories or whatever you do or dont need to loose weight thanks.

Remember that you should only lose about 2-5 LBS over a period of 1 month. It isn't good if you try and lose 15 LBS in 3 weeks. It takes your body some time to get used to the changes. nerd.gif

In the past, with the job i used to have, and playing DDR, i lost some serious weight. This new job doesnt have me lifting and running and sweating off calories like now. I dont DDR as much but i try to when i have the chance. Playing at home sucks if you ain't got a worth the dam pad. I also gotta tell my GF to stop cooking that badazz food! YUm! drool.gif laugh.gif

Well over the summer i went on a diet, not really a diet, really it was starvation but nonetheless a diet.

I either played DDR for 2-3 hours a day, or I'd lift weights for an hour and then do 1000-2000 steps on a step machine.

I cut out soda/pop/whatever you call it, drank purely water. I didn't really eat much, but when I did eat, I stayed away from the carbs, ate chicken or red meat. Sometimes some pretzels if I got hungry for a snack, actually I ate mostly cereal. A little trick is, sometimes when you're hungry you're really not, so drink a tall glass of water and wait 10-15 minutes and if you're still hungry, then eat something.

Anyway I went from about 215 to about 180, so I lost about 35 lbs...I quit my diet in September or so...haven't really been working out as hard or anything and I'm about 173 now, and I'm gonna start up my diet again but I'm gonna make sure to eat more.

I don't condone anyone else doing this, I was just in crisis mode and wanted to lose weight fast, it's not the right way to do things, always remember to stay hydrated and to eat when you're hungry.

Just thought I'd share my experience. :)

the point of this diet for me was that i wanted to drop down to 140, and then start lifting weights from there. Right now i can lift a 35 pound weight with one arm... im looking to get skinny and try to get up to 45 pounders.... pretty hardcore. anyway this diet will officially start this monday, as of this week i have been sick, and i have to eat chicken noodle soup (noodles=carbs) anyway i kinda swapped some crap around.

Carb limit per day- 50
DDR- 25 total songs a day.
18 cups of water a day. (180 divided by 10= 18... thats how i got that.)

I will post results every 5 days. If your on this diet, post results too.

Right now

Goal weight= 135 pounds.

180-135= 45.

I'm aiming to lose 45 pounds at a 9 pound loss a month rate. (45 divided by 9=5)

With the body build you got, you should aim at about 150 and then start lifting, gain some muscle, if you go clear to 135, you'll resemble that of a twigg. :p

ok ill try im built around the same as u 5'7 5'8 14 but i think i way a little more but i can also lift a little more. i bench today at 145 so u can say im pretty strong.but i need to loose a little weight one question
Carb limit per day- 50
that mean 50% carb a day or 50g or what

Diet????????????? what diet, you eat however the f.uck you want and then a half hour or hour later you go burn it all off...if you want to loose weight playing drr eat however the fu.ck you want, and play more DDR, and they make something called nitro

its not a drug kids can buy it, its basically a whole bunch of coffee in one little pill, but if your going to take it make sure you dont take it on a empty stomach

so once again eat however you want, set your self on workout mode, and play ddr, that way you are a happy person and you get better at ddr, dont diet it is stupid...you will have no energy to ever play from no carbs, so load yourselves up with carbs

the nitro i mentioned earlyier, is sold at places like k mart or circle K or any "kwikie mart" so go get yourselves some of thos and go on the "Josh Diet"

well actually, i get more energy with this carb diet then i did without it. kinda odd. like i can actually wake up now and go to school every day. i guess its cuz its more balanced out (my nutrients)
