the ONLY problem that I have with the redoctane pad is that it has two extra arrows that I will not use...

P.S.--The only way that my decision will sway, is that if I see some videos of the BNS one's performance and durability. The BuyNShop website needs to get a video section to show their pads in action(their ignition pads, metal pads, etc.), that would probably be the best thing for them to do right now...so they can get known for making great dance pads.

Hmmmm well due to popular demand i guess i will take some pics with my cell phone and post them.......They maybe foggy tho, But im sure u can get an idea. I know im taking a big risk with these BNS but I will most definitly post my 2 cents about it. Like i said, I will decribe everything from the feel of it, to what the heck is inside it. I hope these pads last longer than 2 weeks. erm.gif

But the thing is, those work as X and O. And they're always there just in case.

Yeah, having those there is a good thing.

There a place called Game Zone in Gilbert, Az, and I went there and they only had one metal pad left. I told my Mom I did not want it because I did not trust the company Game Mate. I decided to go with their ignition dance pad instead, it died within a month of owning it. My Mom ruined my Konami pad that came with the bundle because she folded it up even when it wasn't necessary...so far I have broken three normal soft pads and two ignition pads. I need a metal pad sooo bad!

Ya, ok. where the hell are the friggin admins?????

They magically disappear when I'm being insulted, but if I replied to this scum-bag, BAM, warning points.

Anyway, like I said, just wait for frozenxer.
He's not on either side, so he'll settle this.

Come on thats just flaming right back. You dont know him, and plus this is a thread for BNS pads, i feel bad for not keeping on subject.

But anyway, the BNS pads look similar to the neo pads, weight and look

Except

BNS
Full size metal dance platform - 33 X 36 inches and Over 1.5" inches thick

Neo
Dimensions: 34.5 inches x 34.5 inches
1.5 inches thick

Which is the closest to the arcade?

well, at least its settled that BNS is better than RO.
Ro uses aluminum foil for contacts.
BNS uses sheet metal.

Am I still a raging idiot?

Dont worry frozen, you made the right choice.

It looks like someone owes me an apology.

You lied about a product with which you had absolutely NO experience.

You claimed BNS to be trash, yet, you've never even seen one before.

You claimed RO to be better, even though as we speak the Red Octane thread has become a sinking ship. http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=71177&start=180

Enjoy your pad Housemaster.

Enjoy.

BTW, I'm still waiting for Frozen to get his BNS and tell you all about it.

Housemaster, your credibility has just gone down the toilet, along with $200 dollars.

So...

The Red Octane Metal pad has a crappy contact system, and a confirmed case of the pad itself falling apart.

99% of stories around here about BNS are horror stories. Granted, most of them are not told from the owner, but from a "friend". But it is quite odd that not one of these hearsay stories are good. I guess I don't need to explain who makes up the last 1% of good stories.

I guess it's good having these discussions/arguments, because after looking back, all it shows is that there is one good buy: a Cobalt flux.

No, dunce.

BNS has yet to be proven. Im still the only one who owns one so far.
When fr0zenxer gets his pad, then you will see that there are 2 good choices:

CF and BNS.

CobaltFlux is a good buy if you have that kind of money, but if you dont, then go BNS. They're like the same thing.

It's sad, when I am almost tempted to spend $180 just to get you to shut the fuck up. It's almost like talking to a brick wall. You completely ignore the fact that every single person that had an experience with a BNS metal pad, was bad, except for you. I can look back on about a dozen posts that mention that the pad works good for a few weeks, then breaks down, whether it was theirs, or a friends.

Unbelieveable, totally unbelieveable. You guys tend to drag out an issue about these damn pads too long and too damn much. Just say your piece about your pad and just leave it at that. No need to argue about the damn sh*t. Hence, this thread might get shut down like Iguanagrrl did the other. Crypto, I ain't tryin to start no beef with ya, but I read your previous posts, and what ya said in the beginning is all good, but, please no nore arguing on the BNS, you made your point. Sh*t's gettin' old.

HAHA! triple G, I could kiss you! Thanks

Hey, could you do me a favor and open up the pad and see if it uses sheet metal or aluminum foil for contacts? Thanks.

This will be the last off-topic post in this thread:

At crypto's request, I have reviewed the thread for flaming that may have gone overlooked. As I'm really the only active mod on Console Games, I can occasionally miss things, and I appreciate crypto pointing it out.

Housemaster has been warned one point for calling crypto a "dumb$ss".
Crypto has been warned one point for calling Housemaster a "scumbag".

I feel this is a fair and just decision, and anyone with a problem with this can PM me.

Anyone else personally attacking anyone else on this thread after this post will get three points, no questions asked. It's about DDR pads, folks - this isn't gang warfare. End of discussion.

I would urge anyone wanting some decent info on a BNS pad, to look at this thread:
http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=76277

You may be in for a shock.

Praise allah!!!!!!!!!!!!! riiight.gif

Anyways, crypto's statement about me not having an experience with a BNS was false, I really did. Friend bought one.

Anyways, haha, crypto's wrong. My friend must have just got a bad pad, because they are pretty much exact copies of the RO.

I find it funny that crypto, who reported flaming, got banned because he flamed.

What goes around comes around, I got my consequence, he got his. nerd.gif
