Finally there's a music game out that has some punk/rock music on it. Granted, mod-punk, but it still rocks. I've always loved all the Taiji Boys and similar stuff on Pump it Up and the new Ez2dancer mix has Less than Jake, Offspring, Blink 182, Bloodhound Gang and Bon Jovi. LESS THAN JAKE for gods sake, how cool is that?! I've been playing "All my friends are Metalheads" all day. This is great.

Drummania has had some punk songs on it.

Anarchy in the U.K. by Sex Pistoles
Can't Help Falling in Love by Hi-Standard
I Fought the Law by The Ramones (or Sex Pistoles? Can't remember)
Then there's a bunch of no-name punk songs like Across The Nightmare, Say What You Mean, P.P.R. etc...

That's cool that they got liscensing to all that music, even though I'm not a fan of any of the bands.

Across The Nightmare is hardly punk. It's just jazzy rock, with some swing in it.

But that's good that there is some punk in these games... but it's Less Than Jake disgust.gif

Heh.. Skank Skank Revolution! I'd play it!

I Fought The Law was originally a country song, I forgot who it was by though. It was covered by The Clash and Dead Kennedys.

Well, it follows a punk beat. It sounds like a lot of punk songs; it just doesn't have lyrics. I guess the guitar kind of throws it off, though.

The Bobby Fuller Five. Clash version is best though.

Happy Man and PPR are punk.
I Wanna Be Your Boy could be.
LTJ would be awsome if it were on Drummania, or how about playing "Suburban Home" by the Descendents, or "Basket Case" by Green Day. I'd love to play "Blitzkrieg Bop" by the Ramones. More punk in bemani games would be sweet.

I don't like punk rock. It's just far from being my style.

GS6: I'm sorry, with does that do to contribute to the thread? I'm curious to know.

And is Midnight Special considered Punk? My friend says it's Ska, but I don't believe him.

Cassandra's also Ska.

But enough about Ska; what about O Jiya? It's Indian music, a first on DM I believe...

Edit: Wait, this is a Punk topic. Sorry, I thought this was a different topic... riiight.gif

DOUBLE TROUBLE!
Gahh... how I loved that song. It's more 3rd wave ska-ish than anything...

About the punk that should be on drummania, make DTX and GDA files! I've made one for private eye (alk. Trio), The Freshmen (The Verve Pipe, not punk or ska... but whatever) and I've found files for Superman (Goldfinger), Ex-miss (NFG)... I mean. It all pwns!
I was working on an LTJ song, but ohh well...I need to get back on track, seeing as summer jsut started. ^_^

BBH-What ever happened to MusicGamer? Ohh yeah, your gda's pwn too. ^^; Lobster magnet is great. XD

The site moved, and then nobody went there anymore. I think it's been long abandoned frown.gif

And thanks. I was thinking of making more in the future (whenever that is). Hmm, I wonder if I should update my difficulty rankings now that I've played DM 7th... or maybe I should just leave them at DM 5th standards.....

Keep them that way.
Thats the only way I'll ever be able to be proud of myself beating the Lain song ^__^.
I don't remeber getting an email about them moving... maybe I joined a little late, or something.

It's funny... I just found a place with basket case. I'm not entirely sure if it's allowed for me to post a link to this place, seeing as it has most of the official drum stages as well... You could pm me, I guess. Or pop me an email. If it's okay, just tell me and I'll post it. ^_^

I believe u are refering to Ez2Dancer:UK Move which is the equivilent of Euromix for the most part for those of you confused I put the link to the entire song list below but it doesnt seem terribly accurate and I am not quite an expert on Ez2Dancer yet but I know this isnt 1st or 2nd move and UK move seems the only one close

btw were did u find one of these?
