Ok, everyone hates when there about to finish a song, and outta nowhere, the pad just flies out from under u.
Heres my solution
get ur softpad, mod it however u like with plywood, and go to lowes or home depot and get the carpet stuff with little spikes
now staple that to the bottom of the plywood and tada, no mor slipping

two words: duct tape.

duct tape is the solver of all your problems. just put maybe two layers down on the edges and the corners and your pad will stay in place. it's safer too when your pad is stabilized in one place.

The only downside to duct tape is that it doesn't look very good and it probably wouldn't be very good to put on a light colored carpet.
